"Fight" Layout by DT Zsoka Marko

Today we are sharing SOS Designer Zsoka's awesome take on our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
Zsoka:
"Hey there,
Zsoka here today with another Dr.Seuss book inspired challenge! Even though the topic of this book is totally different (I assume...because I have never actually read either of these two books), the design to me looks very similar.

So again, I took inspiration from the colors and the hand drawn/sketched design. But also, the moose! Since Christmas wasn't long ago, I still have plenty of pictures from our holidays and moose just seemed to fit the winter theme. Funnily enough (at least to me!) I had this picture of my son and my father where they put their heads together, discussing, like when moose are fighting.

I stamped the lyrics of Little Drummer Boy on the background (no reason, it was just on my mind at the time) and painted some words with watercolor. Like most of the time, I am using a cut file here too, which I found in the Silhouette store. I used some matching Christmas papers from different collections to mat my photo and journaling (yeah, had I known what I want to do for this layout earlier, I wouldn't have spent so much time on stamping and painting the middle...but then again, I am not big on planning ha!). As required by this challenge, I added hearts, some of which I painted, some I left plain, because I love wood veneer just as it is. It looks good on any layout I find!

Hope I have inspired you to play along at Scrap Our Stash, I myself really love these challenges, they are so much fun! There's always a prize too!

Thanks for stopping by! X"
